Hey guysm just because i've never actually driven a 944 before, i wanted to ask this:

the gears in the car are easy to find, the neutral position seems fine, but when i stick the shifter in gear, there is still alot of play with the stick. I'm just wondering how it should feel...

also, when i turn the key to the accessory position, none of the gauges activate - fuel, battery or any of the dash lights. about the only things that work on the dash are the green parking lights light and a red light on the battery gauge - the battery is brand new. could this be form a single fuse or relay, or multiple fuses or relays?
