Anyways, here is what rust free looks like.
Oops. Forgot to mention that there was no roof. Upgraded to 12 volt. Underbody looked fine. Mechanicals are probably okay. I say probably because there was no battery to try and turn it over. There were enough acorns in the interior and engine bay to survive off of if the car ever broke down so that is a plus.
I employed the "Shut Up" strategy with the guy and just walked around and poked and prodded. He just kept talking and talking. Without any prompting he dropped the price down to $1000. 33% off without a word. I'm going to have to use that technique more often. I didn't buy it though. I told him that I would have to do more research.
