2nd gear broke early on and 1st had a chip. Tranny probably had about 20,000 on it at that time and it was only the front that was opened.  It's on its 3rd clutch.
BTW, the engine has never had its 'top end' yet.
P.S. You know that there is no syncro for reverse.... ya gotta put your foot in and wait a few secs.
