Here's one I'm thinking of picking up (about $600 brand new in the box):
The nice thing about a .22 pistol is they're dirt cheap to practice with. 9mm and other common pistol calibers are getting awfully expensive to blow downrange, although I would strongly recommend getting a larger caliber pistol (9mm, .40, .380, .44, .45, etc.) if you have any thoughts of having one for home defense. Better still, consider a 12-gauge shotgun. They're inexpensive enough.
I stay reasonably current with my various pistols, but as said above, it'd be awfully nice to have a .22 so I could go to the range more often. It's just too expensive to go and blow a couple hundred rounds of .45 or 9mm every couple of weeks.
