My town is fourth from bottom! I like that. The top of the list..Mazon is a small town of 1000 with one main road running through it. That road (Rt 47 for the locals) is heavily used by college students going from the west suburbs down to various schools in central and southern Illinois. I have pass through Mazon hundreds of times, but knowing that it was not going to end well if I got stop, I always slow down.
I once witness racial profiling by Mazon'z finest. Young black guy was driving a 80-ish BMW E30 immediately ahead of me. We were both going the speed limit and maintaining safe distance. No one was driving erratically and there was no probable cause (middle of day, full visibility, no lights needed or on), but as soon as the cop saw the guy behind the wheel, on came the lights. I felt bad for the guy.
Guess Mazon needs to pay for their PD somehow...
