We do not produce the fabric; ironically we import the fabric from the US. The US still has a clear technology advantage over the Chinese producers of this type of fabric.
Another irony; I went to a conference in San Diego a decade or so ago to learn more about breathable fabrics, only to find that the 2 lecturers were ladies from a college with great expertise in fabrics ( now a University) only 50 miles from my house!
