Well, I'm back, after almost 2 years without a 911. I'm looking for a '99-'04 996, coupe (or Targa), automatic, and C2 or C4 -- just for a change after all that air cooled wrenching. Max I can spend is maybe $22K.

I've read a few of the threads about the 996s, but it's still foreign to me.
Any advice about where to look for Porsches?
Anyone know of one for sale?

Lastly, how do I locate someone for a PPI, expecting that I might find THE car anywhere in the States?
