The answer is a resounding YES! I upgraded the suspension in my Cab about 4 1/2 years ago and found that it is eminently more "raw" and "tossable". The suspension will be stiffer, which will mean it will take a set more quickly during the turn-in to a corner, and therefore will react more quickly than you are used to now. It will feel less ponderous during transitions and therefore will feel as if it is lighter.

Over the years I have driven quite a few stock 911's and can say that I notice quite a difference between those cars and mine.
