I don't usually drive my 68 very much, just short trips and once or twice a week as I don't quite trust it for longer stuff.

But the last couple of weeks it has been so nice out that I have been going for drives just for the heck of it, an hour or so just wandering thru the foothills seeing where roads go. And the car is running a LOT better, there's a lot less popping and spitting back thru the carbs, it seems to accelerate better, and of course the sound of the motor with all the windows down and running fast through the hills just reminds me of why I bought the car in the first place, to drive.

It's easy to forget that most cars, and especially Porsches, seem to run better if they are used. So get out there for a drive.
