If your seller has a receipt from a retailer claiming the other product is SSI (R) Brand Name, pass that info along to the guys at SSI. They actively pursue false advertising using their name.

(You might want to edit your comment..the product that doesn't fit is N O T a SSI. Don't defame the good guys by using their brand name when talking about an alternate/inferior product).

Let your seller know he also has a claim for false advertising to the retailer that sold a substitute product to him using the brand name "SSI".

The last thing a retailer needs is to be called out as a shady dealer on this or any other web talk board. There are about 20K porsche folks reading these pages. It would take years to regain those customers. (You would think Refunds to all parties along this scam trail would be the minimum action).
