What's the point? The DME ignition is already robust enough to fire my plugs gapped at 0.060" on my 86 as long as you get rid of the stock Beru cables.


Regardless how you go, you will still need replace your copper Beru cables for carbon core or equivalent to handle the higher voltages required to fire a bigger gap. In addition, I would recommend upgrading your cap and rotor to HEI rated components.
