One doesn't need a horse to bring a bag of horse effluent with them if the purpose is to spread it on the garden. However if one has kept their eye on the grand scheme of things one would realize it isn't the spreading of the effulent on the garden that is the object of the exercise but only is a means of growing a garden one wants.
