One thing you might want to consider if you have carbs is to take the jets(mainly the main jets) out and clean them. You can soak them in carb cleaner or the like and then blow filtered compressed air through it. Stick them back in and the car should run a little better if you haven't done that in a while.

The gas nowadays sucks!
