Middie price

OK so a car has come up its a 75 911S. It is my ideal color but the seller wants $21.6k

I do like he look of this car but I am trying to be smart however I feel like a muppet because I could of brought http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/496725-fs-1974-911-rblt-motor-trans-susp.html
A completely sorted originally Gulf blue 74 911 for 12.5k had it repainted, i didnt because I thought paying $20K was too much for a mid year car.

Heres the CL ad, (its also on the F/S section here) I asked the seller a few questions and got the answers below:.

My question is are Gulf blue middies this rare ? any thoughts on a fair offer bearing in mind the milage and the fact it has not been driven much.

"1975 Porsche 911S, all original with 62174 original miles. Gulf blue is original paint and looks great with the blank interior. Momo Prototipo steering wheel, front cooler and radio are all the non original parts. I do have the original wheel and radio, which are part of the sale. I am the third owner and all I have done is maintain the car over the years. Brakes, master cylinder, 11 blade fan and axles have been replaced. All the proper fixes have been performed and there is no issue with the motor. It does drip oil but then again, so do all older Porsches. No trades and serious inquiries only. Sale price $21599, which includes aftermarket AC, original tools, air compressor, black front bra (70's vintage), Porsche cover and certificate of authenticity'

All the studs were checked and inserts were added. I have receipts to prove this.

The thermal reactors have been removed and I do not have them in my possession.

Carrera chain tensioners have not been added.

This is the original paint, no respray.

I have all the service records from the time of purchase. I went as far as to track
down all records I did not have after I found the shop that performed all the work
on this car. I have all possible information, to the best of my knowledge.

I would need to check the Fuchs to see if they are correct. My understanding is
that the car came with cookie cutters and the last owner replaced with the Fuchs but
I cannot tell you if they are period correct

There is a crack, 3 inches long in the center starting from the speaker.

The car is driven on average once a month. I start the car every one to two weeks
to keep the battery fresh and to lubricate the engine. Oil is replaced every 6
months. Total miles per year are 300 or so. The car is stored in my garage,
covered.
