Yes..you can spray some carb cleaner into it..it does get gummed up over time...if your able to remove the clamp around the hose,that is if your clamp screw is in a position to get a screwdriver on it, you can pull the hose off...usually the extension tube for the carb cleaner will not reach the inlet of the idle stabilizer..what I do is just take some small diameter tubing about 10 inches long and insert it into the inlet of the idle stabilzer and the other end on the carb cleaner extension tube and squirt a few shots of cleaner...place a rag under the stabilizer to catch the drips...it makes difference..the valve in the stabilzer does get gummed up..I do this once a year....
