If you're talking about the passenger footwell, then +1 on the battery tray leaking.
If you mean the right rear of the back compartment area (the back hatch), then I'd vote for the lower hatch seal.
I had that problem on my 83 that finally was resolved with a new hatch seal. Before that, I'd tried adjusting the locking pins and other stuff all to no avail.
