I have the same issue and I don't have a sunroof. For me, over time the battery pan has rusted out, and as the windshield drains straight into the battery pan and out the other side, its like turning a tap on in my passenger foot well. Patch that (mine was bad enough when I got it to need a sheet of tin tack welded in, and voila, no more passenger swimming pool)
