I use the K27S or K27HFS on Carrera conversions with stock 930 exhaust parts. Turbo lag is non-existent and those turbos work well in low boost applications.
The K26 is not the same as a 3LDZ. Very laggy but for $120 will get you going. If purchasing used make sure the turbo is in good condition and never damaged. You don't want to throw 25 year old turbo bits through your engine.
