It looks like rebuild kits are under $100 for a k26. Seems kind of no lose either way. I'm just supposed to check for shaft play correct? Is there an acceptable amount of play or is it supposed to be 100% solid? I just want to make sure that this is something that will bolt up to a factory 930 exhaust. Yes, frugality is my game on this one. If It doesn't meet expectation, i'll pull it off, sell the car, and try to get into a 930. I've got a feeling i'm nowhere near alone in this conquest. There is a world of affordable performance out there available to those willing to do some digging. If i can find it, I will gladly post the entire process to clear things up a bit for novices like myself. Thanks for the help so far!
