Sounds high to me...mine when cold might be @ 1500 or so RPMs until warmed up.

I'd guess you may have a dirty ISV. There's a "port" on the throttle body-open it (small screw/nut) and pour/spray some throttle body cleaner into it. Don't empty the can if you know what I mean. Put the "port" cover back on, and start the car. It will smoke like crazy. Drive her in 1st gear to the corner at high RPMs until the smoke has subsided. This may unclog it, and fix the high idle.
