So the guy is about that distance further from the camera than the snake is.
We've covered this "trick" in other "huge snake" threads... it's bogus.
You could hold an earthworm out toward the camera on a longer stick and it would look like it was as long as the guy is tall.
The only way to legitimately claim a snake is a certain length is to lay it out straight on the ground and put a tape measure right beside it.
BTW, those other two photos' bogus length claims are ridiculous, too... especially the first one.
