TV writers and producers have the creativity of a grapefruit... one show is successful and sprouts multiple copies.
i.e. the never ending cavalcade of "reality", "CSI", "medical", "cop", and now "ghost", dumb as dirt spin-offs we have to endure anytime one particular type of show secedes.
