What year are we talking here? Were you flying DC-9's?
If you end up on a surface street leaving MIA to get to I-95, you've definitely taken a wrong turn. We have the 112 Expressway to the north and the 836 along the south. Both 4/8 lane freeways take you directly to I-95 within minutes.
