Actually, it scares the heck out of me that we're seeing returns right now the way we are. I'm sure a lot of it is false - how do I pull it out now so that I can at least protect what I have at the moment? Right now I'm only in my 30s so I'm supposed to be risky but watching it loose 25% and then get it back over a year scares the heck out of me.

I HATE DEPENDING ON THE MARKET FOR MY RETIREMENT. Your only control is what...chance?

The gains in the market now are not real, weak dollar, shifting listings on the DJIA (No more GM and such, replaced with the likes of Cisco and such).

I've watched both of my retirement accounts come back and even gain some. We aren't supposed to see returns of this size in this short of a time, it's a bubble - it is the definition of a bubble and I just can't believe that nobody else is saying this. How quickly we return to our same habits of ignoring the obvious.

My question again is, what do I do with the 401K now that it is back up to its former 'glory' so that I can keep my money instead of continuing to risk it in this environment of chance and gambling?
