I saw their episode on a Porsche 924. They bought it, fixed it up, and sold it for something like 3 times what they paid for it I think, maybe more. They basically gave it a run of the mill tune up, fluids, cleaned up the wheels, did some bondo over the rust spots and spray can guards red'd it, vacuumed her out and shipped her off.
I'm not sure how much disclosure was taken with the seller, but yea... I wouldn't buy a car from em.
The mechanical work they do is usually just good enough to make her go down the road semi-straight....
I still found it a pretty cool show... I just wish they'd take it a little further and put some more money in it- but then they wouldn't be making any money flipping the cars I guess...
That's what separates those kind of car flippers from real enthusiasts.
