The car was a 78 or a 79. Lvoe 928's - one great driving car and easy to live with. I rather enjoyed the show but was a little surprised at what they did on the brakes.

Had a sticky caliper so they replaced all four calipers. OK. Good idea, but to save money, most would have rebuilt the calipers. They spent a bunch of money replacing them. Then didn't replace all the brake fluid. Just bled and walked away on a car that had sat for years. Really should have changed all the brake fluid on a car that sits like that, especially one that goes pretty darn fast AND has expensive calipers...

They did a pretty decent job on the repaint for the car. Took out the side windows, removed the doors etc. Atrocious body work by the mechanic on the quarter panel. He pronounced it "done" and ready for paint at a point where I would say it was maybe 1/3 of the way properly smoothed. He seems to be a pretty competant wrench, but for the record - step away from the body tools before you hurt yourself. There's no end in that end of the pool for someone wearing water wings.
