Then he left it so incredibly rough that no self respecting painter would have shot over the top of it. It looked good when it was done, so clearly someone intervened.
The funny part of the show is when the painter guy is looking the car over and explaining to the show host that it's already been painted several times! Did you see the look on the host's face?
I busted up laughing on that one! The host had missed the previous repaints!
I really dislike BBS wheels, but on that car I'd have given serious consideration to painting the centers body color and cleaning up the rims. Maybe not a full polish on the rim, but just a real good cleaning. The phone dials looked very good after being cleaned up.
I'd have also re-dyed the driver's seat. The rest of that interior was really nice. Kind of makes me jones a little for a 928. Something nicely decadent, an S4 or GT...
