My AFCK is the old liner lock model with ATS-34 steel blade. I like it, but based on my current carry knife, I'd love to have an Axis lock model. Is yours D2 tool steel? My current blade is. It seems to hold an edge longer than the ATS-34.

The AFCK-style is the pre-production D2 version. I have an older AFCK with the ATS steel, which was a spectacular knife for many years, until the blade snapped (don't ask...). Can't get it replaced since they don't make them anymore
The Balisong is actually an original Model 44, not the newfangled ones they make.
As for serrations...I'm not a fan either, but sometimes you gotta take them, they have such a dominance of the market.
You really should just find a source for the AFO you want, private sale kinda thing hint hint hint...
