I came close to buying a V8 Vantage a couple years ago. My wife was even encouraging it.

Instead, I bought another rental house. Positive cash flow, while Astons on eBay are almost down to half-price from new sticker.

While I'm smitten by the Vantage, and would love to drive one, I don't want to be seen driving it. Just a bit too ostentatoius. Or is that Astontatious?

I love the sound of the engine. I would have to bring it out to an autocross just to hear it wail at redline. The interior puts every other car on the planet to shame. I don't keep my cars clean enough to deserve an Aston. Guess I'll just be happy collecting rent.
