If it was a special wishes car, that likely woudn't be on the sticker anyway, as they usually built the car first, then sent it to the special wishes department. And then, if a customer wanted just the body, and nothing else, that was probably available. So, looking at the suspension may not help.

I'd suggest tracking down the original owner and getting the story from him.

Thanks for the info. I look quite a few times for that sticker. Mine (cab # 0070) was completed on the the 27 Nov 82 and sure enough there is no sticker. I do have the Paint Sticker on the trunk passenger side.
