If you are going to put it in the bed go with linex. I use the two part liner and spray it on($12 will get a shots gun). When I spray the inside of the cars it really cuts down the noise and heat transfer. It will really need to be prepped right. I plan to use it just like this, in an interior. It's not a race car, but a rat rod type project that I want to keep the interior as simple as possible.
Did you use linex here or something else?
