I seem to recall that the FXX was offered only to existing 'good' Ferrari owners.. and its not road legal...
So what's the problem here.. Ferrari calls you up and says are you interested in buying this car.. we maintain it for you, arrange track days with other owners and full serivce/ pit crews/ hospitality services and all you do is turn up? you are also part of the Ferrari development team and can get a Ferrari team to help you develop your own car....
Bear in mind these guys probably already have an Enzo at home.. possibly and F40 or F50 as well....with a few others.
Is it really such a hardship condition as that? Nobody is holding a gun to their heads...and if they don't like it and want a faster version of the Enzo I'm sure that Maserati would have happily sold them an MC12....which although on paper slower to accelerate was faster around the N'Ring than the Enzo...
I'm sure that Ferrari are pretty draconian in the US...but in Europe they are somewhat less paranoid...getting your Ferrair serviced by one of the specialists here in the UK does not appear to be an issue...
