austin552, the funny rootbeer / 3tap vid brought back a funny memory to me. a long time ago, my sister & I were receiving a ride in my Uncle's new 911. We were in Chester, California. My uncle took us to A&W for a rootbeer float. On the way back to our cabin, I made my sister ( sitting in the front seat ) laugh. She spit rootbeer all over the inside of the 911's windshield. Needless to say, My Uncle Dan was not too happy with me.
Uncle Dan drove his 911 until the clutch failed in 1980. He parked it in his garage but never had the funds to repair the car. In 2005, he gave me the 911. Since then, I've done a complete restoration of the car and now, drive it most weekends.
