The window stop is part of the lifting mechanism. If the window is too high,
remove the door trim and adjust the stop
until you get a good fit against the roof
seal (I takeit it's a targa).
You will probably have to adjust the glass angle to achieve the best fit.
The stop is inside the door on the linkage,
look for a rectangular shaped hole in the
panel with a bolt head inside..that is the stop. Loosen the bolt and slide it either way, tighten the bolt and try it, if too high move it the other way. It's fairly
easy to do. But make sure the targa roof fits properly first. You may have to adjust that before moving to the doors..
The sequence is:
1. Adjust doors to fit body.
2. Adjust targa roof to fit body.
3. Adjust door window frame to fit body
and targa roof.
4. Adjust Glass to fit body and roof.
5. May have to re-position lateral seal to
fit door glass and frame.
6. Drive and enjoy
