The car seems very complete with nothing i can find missing from original s. The door pockets look new ect. The seat looks dusty but never sat in. There are extra motor bits but i dont know what they are. Several cams and velocity stacks ect. If this guy had access to the factory and actual racing "r" 's i wonder. There are numbers on the cams. Then again i dont know what has been done to the engine in the car if anything. We got it with the orginal s rear deck on it and the racing mods ... exhaust - r fiberglass rear deck- motor bits with the car. The cars exterior you could see where decals were once on the doors ect.
Seems they put the s trim on after the racing was done. The metal trim you can see decal under it and the trim on the car looks new with no dings. Even the little metal trim piece behind the rear wheel looks new. Guessing he raced for year got his R in 1969 then put trim on to make driver then sold to guy in us and year after that into storage.
Anyone know if an r body was used for s? Was oil cooler with oil filer hole behind passenger door an option for s?
