The Scooby swap has been done before. There's someone up in Chico, I think, who has a website documenting the swap. And I've heard it reported a few times as well. I think life is even easier with the Scoob, because you don't need a tranny adaptor. The same bolt pattern is used as the VW trannies (which is the same as on the Porsche ones). Flywheel is another story, but...
