Mike I know it sounds bad, but at least this is a fistula that can be treated on an outpatient basis with no cutting on your bowels.
As to Remicade, that is the nuclear bomb option of Crohn's. Good results short term, but very dangerous long term side effects in some.
Hopefully you doctor has other options to try.
