I don't know where I rank on a scale, but I had the same hair dryer for 27 years...

It finally started electrocuting me through the case and that's when I got rid of it!

My appliances last a long time (and I expect them to...). I've owned two washing machines my entire life. The current one has been running under heavy family/sports use for about 14 years.

My mother is exactly the opposite. She's lucky to get 2 years out of a washer or dryer before it quits running. Just beat everything to death. Especially cars.... Oh good lord, you shoud see what my mother does to cars... In he car dictionary, beside the word HELL is a picture of my mother.
