Obviously, no one can predict the future with 100% certainty, so there was nothing wrong with anyone taking a bold stand and ultimately being incorrect.
But, while the Phillies are a good team, they are nowhere near as strong at this yankee team, top to bottom. Like the Angels, just not quite the same power top to bottom.
Wasn't a bad WS, though, even though it looked pretty bleak after the phillies lost game 3. The phillies fought back to at least make it somewhat respectable.
Would have been really sweet to have won tonight to force a game 7 and give lee a chance, but no way was Pedro and his 85 mph fastball going to get it done against that yankee lineup.
