I drink too much diet soda myself. More than 2 liters a day. As a diabetic, it seems that diet soda satisfies my sweet-tooth without the carbs, and is readily available. I suppose that I am addicted to the stuff, and need to cut back.
On days where I don't drink any soda, I get the withdrawl symptoms - headaches, primarily.
