I have a 911 65 Swb which have a big front damage
I have a perfect 912 69 Lwb that have a small rear end damage
but the front is perfect and untouched
I have search the last 6 months (in europe) for an early 911 swb donor car to fix my 65 swb but no luck
and I want this car on the track early next year so action must be taken now
my plan is offcause to cut both cars in half and take the front from the 912
I see some things like the steering housing, dash board
but it will not be made as an concurs car but as a racecar
(all the interior etc parts missing from the 65 so no chance to make it orginal anyway )
all i want is a swb R group wannabe racer
I have search everywhere but i only see swb to lwb conversion
no lwb to swb
WHAT DO I HAVE TO HAVE IN MIND DOING THIS CONVERSION
or is the project just way off,
PS. welding work is no problem and we are very experienced
I am just asking to save time
I dosent look that bad on the pictures
but trust me its off in every measure and as said it was a racecar from day one
and it have signs that maybe the front have been change bafore
the last owner is dead so I can get any onformation
