Rinse engine interior with diesel?
I've got my engine on a stand and would like to rinse/flush it properly before reassembly in case some dust or other particles have gotten in there.
I'm not splitting the block, but cam assembly, balance shaft covers, AOS and oil pan will be removed and resealed.
Is it safe to clean it with diesel, gasoline, brake disk cleaner or something similar and simply let it run into the oil pan and drain it from there?
