My PayPal account was hacked a while ago. Last week I finally decided to open a new account using a only a credit card. All is good, then a screen pops up at the end and PayPal wants my bank account info to "complete the registration process" with no way I could see to get around it. Fuch that. So I clicked out of the entire thing and forget about it. Next morning, I've got an email from them with a link to confirm my new account
I click it and I'm in with just the CC. The bank account info is only to 'enhance your account' but they present it like it is a required part of the sign up.
They are a very devious company .... but what is the alternative?
