Granted my kids are no where near driving age, but in less than year your son has gone through 4 motors and had 3 at-fault accidents? Those are 4 more motors and 3 more at-fault accidents than I've been through in my entire life, combined. (Full disclosure in the interest of fairness: I had a car totaled underneath me last year when I got rear-ended while stopped in a line of traffic on the highway.) Perhaps these are brave words as I'm not near putting my kids behind the wheel, but if my son pulled that kind of driving ineptitude on me (and the rest of the population) when he turned 16, he for sure would have his driving privilege revoked, as socially inconvenient it may be to me.
