building my own pc
hi all
Im building a new pc for the first time. I am trying to do so using mostly new parts , but was trying to use my old video card for now.
Problem is , it wont plug in!
The cards contacts are broken into two sections seperated by a gap so you can only install the card one way.
well, if I d install it the right way, the plugfor the monitor is on the inside of the computer! In other words, it is as if they motherboard has its agp slot backwards!
My old card is agp, and the slot on this new board is agp.
Did they change the slots?
Or perhaps I am missing somthing silly here...looking at wires and squinting too long!
thanks for any help
