This case, like the early 911 is a magnesium case not aluminum and had a coating on it that comes off in the industrial dishwashers.
Most knowing shops won't do them
I had the 356 done and by next morning it was showing white corrosion again.
Probably just a good steam cleaner would work or pressure washer?
