Calling in to your crew chief to ask someone to get out of your way is common in NASCAR--especially with lapped traffic. I can see it for lapped traffic towards the end of a race, but not for someone on the same lap--that's why it's called "racing".

Well, I hope McLaren is working on developing their own engines. MB buying Brawn seems to indicate that McLaren will no longer be their "factory" team.
