A very good friend of mine flew "Sandy's" during the early part of Viet Nam. He was in the Wright Patt Air Force museum a few years back (was there with him) and he saw a BU number that rang bells. He returned home and sure enough, the A-1 Spad at WP was one that he flew in 1964/65 with the Air Commando's in Viet Nam. Its in Dayton because its the very same airplane that Bernie Fisher flew when he was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor.
