We hope to have our house up for sale in the spring. We are working furiously over the winter to paint rooms and make minor repairs.

This house has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, two kitchens, and a two-car attached garaged with a three-car detached garage. It is at the upper limit of our price range. We decided to drive by it yesterday and have a look. It would increase my wife's commute from 3 minutes to 15 minutes and my commute would stay at 7 minutes. This house is walking-distance from a couple we are friends with. I hope it's for sale when we are ready to buy...
But there's a problem, because across the street was my wife's dream house for sale:
