Prodrive's Active Torque Dynamics (ATD) system has been around for years now. There's a demonstration on youtube, which is quite impressive.
I wouldn't own something like the X6, but if you wants the commandeering seating position of an SUV, speed, good vehicle dynamics, and "the latest thing" - it's your vehicle.
The X6 is quite popular in Shanghai (more so that the X5), though not quite on par with the Cayenne.
